Have you ever wondered what the most expensive natural skincare brand is? Me too!
I was wondering recently what natural products were on the upper end of the price spectrum that I might not have heard about. I am familiar with Tata Harper (love), but are there other luxury natural brands I need to check out?
Turns out – there are!
There are several luxury skincare brands that offer high-end, expensive natural products. The prices of the products vary, and new products frequently enter the market, but below are a few examples of some of the most expensive brands and products out there.
Five Amazing Luxury Natural Skincare Brands
La Mer: La Mer is known for its luxurious and high-priced skincare products. Their Crème de la Mer moisturizer, formulated with sea kelp and other natural ingredients, is one of their iconic and priciest offerings. One of La Mer's most expensive products is typically the Crème de la Mer Moisturizing Cream. It’s an iconic and highly coveted moisturizer that is renowned for its hydrating and nourishing properties.
Just a note - I wouldn't purchase this item from Amazon because La Mer doesn't have an Amazon shop. You can pick up a 2-ounce jar at Neiman Marcus here. As of today, the price is $380 and it is listed as a best seller!
Sisley-Paris: Sisley-Paris is a renowned brand that emphasizes plant-based extracts and essential oils in its skincare products. Their website says, "Sisley-Paris is a French luxury brand that creates, produces and distributes high-performance, plant-based skincare, makeup, fragrance and hair care products," clearly stating their position as a natural luxury brand. Their Black Rose Precious Face Oil, with its blend of botanical oils, is one of their luxurious and expensive options.
Another of Sisley-Paris's most expensive products is typically the Sisleÿa L'Integral Anti-Age Cream. This anti-aging cream is formulated with a combination of botanical extracts, vitamins, and peptides to target multiple signs of aging and promote youthful-looking skin. It’s known for its luxurious texture and advanced skincare technology.
The price of Sisley-Paris's Sisleÿa L'Integral Anti-Age Cream can be significantly higher compared to other products in their line, reflecting its exclusivity and premium positioning. You can check the current Amazon price here; as of the time of this article, the price for a 1.6-ounce jar is $268, though it looks like the regular retail price is $550.
Tata Harper: Tata Harper is a popular brand that focuses on natural and organic ingredients. Their Elixir Vitae Serum, enriched with botanical extracts and essential oils, is one of their most expensive products. I absolutely love the look of their packaging. I find green glass bottles with gold lettering to feel deeply luxurious – the packaging designer really captures the vibe of their brand.
I don't have any of their products yet, but I have been eyeing this Regenerating Cleanser listed for $88.
Chantecaille: Chantecaille is known for its high-quality and natural skincare products. Their Bio Lifting Cream+, incorporating plant stem cells and botanical extracts, is one of their premium offerings. It is currently listed on Amazon for $362.
Dr. Barbara Sturm: Dr. Barbara Sturm is a luxury skincare brand founded by Dr. Barbara Sturm, a renowned German aesthetics doctor.
The brand focuses on creating advanced and highly effective skincare products that promote a youthful, healthy complexion. Dr. Sturm's approach to skincare is rooted in scientific research and cutting-edge technology, with an emphasis on ingredient quality and compatibility with the skin.
Dr. Sturm developed her signature "Molecular Cosmetics" concept, which involves using molecular compounds to target specific skin concerns and promote overall skin health. This approach aims to provide deep hydration, promote cell renewal, and protect the skin against environmental stressors. Their Super Anti-Aging Serum is one of their most expensive skincare options - listed in their Amazon shop for $370.
Final Thoughts
It's worth noting that the price of skincare products can vary depending on various factors, including brand reputation, ingredient quality, packaging, and marketing. The examples mentioned above represent luxury natural skincare brands that tend to have higher price points. Higher priced doesn't always mean "better" and while we are all subject to favoring beautiful packaging, it's the results that count!
